From the Collection EP, released May 2013. It was written in response to a Children's Society report which found that the individualistic approach to life of most adults is detrimental to society and in particular the upbringing of our children. Deep huh. But the track is most funky. I think you'll like it.
lyrics
It takes all the strength you have to not talk dirty babe
And if you’re feeling really brave then let yourself open
It’s as if a doctor came and killed the pain
You don’t even realise that you’re broken
Woman after woman almost every night
How is it that you are never satisfied?
Have you never been loved?
Sixty years of age and something’s missing
She worked hard all her days, for her material needs.
On the outside, everything looks pretty
When will someone realise that she’s lonely
Sons and daughters wishing she’d get out their lives
Nothing that they do will make her satisfied
Cos she’s never been loved.
I ran across the world
In my search for love
And I found a man
Who helped me understand
I'm already loved
